WD - Wedding Designs offers full service decorating and rentals located in St. John’s, Newfoundland.

Owner Megan Kennedy has always been surrounded by authentic creativity, gaining influence from her mother - an avid crafter, her grandfather - a talented baker, and her aunt - who founded Wedding Designs.

As a part-time job from 2006 to 2017, Megan has helped decorate weddings and many different events with an unique and creative flair.

However, her career path started off quite different at first. When Megan finished high school in 2009, she enrolled in the Marine Environmental Technology Program at the Marine Institute of Memorial University of Newfoundland & Labrador. She graduated from this program in 2012 where she then proceeded to complete her Bachelors of Technology in 2013. She spent 4 year working at a microbiology laboratory in St. John’s. It was when her aunt approached her to state she was retiring from the company when Megan jumped on this opportunity to change career paths!

Megan has taken on full operations of WD since January 2018.

Here at WD, we enjoy doing the work and letting our clients, have the time to relax and enjoy the special day. Whether it be your wedding, birthday, or corporate event, etc, try not to let the little worries take away from important memories made that day.
